As the warm season is coming to an end, we’re already dreaming a new pair of boots to face the winter. Obviously, together with a bunch of cozy oversized sweaters.
Let’s be frank, the best part of the cold months is made of hot chocolates and cinnamon infusions on the sofa.
Of course, when you don’t have a sofa to cocoon in because you’re working, you can still replicate that coziness wearing oversized sweaters.
It follows that, I’ve perused the trends for fall 2015, and here they are:
Fluffy things, floor-duster coats, as reported on Vogue, and (strangely ) colors.

That’s why, here are 5 boards to let your inspiration free to float from whites to pastels, then from black & white to cramels, so you can finally land on the colorful oversized sweaters board.
Did you know you can pair your sweater and your disposition?
Here are some suggestions:
If you are romantic, and you dream a telecommuting job just for the sake of having your cat glued on your legs while working, then you’ll love the white alpaca sweater from Les Demoiselles. But above all you’ll look for the feather hem sweater by Saori Komatsu on the white board here.
On the other hand, you may be the more down-to-earth kind who always tries to stay balanced and sleek.
So, I believe you’ll prefer to go out with a pastel levander sweater from Jill sander or with the Akris oversized sweater that I believed being a coat, while it’s simply a cardigan. Clearly, the two fall (ahah) in the pastels board.
Are you the tough kind of girl who banishes colors on September 1 ?
I’m sure, you’ll be happy with the black and white board and the bicolor cocoon sweater from See by Chloé. Together with the Tory Burch relaxed silhouette, this couple will become your beloved cold-weather staple.
…Ok, other ideas?
Hey, don’t forget it’s autumn, and the leaves are falling.
If you want to disguise yourself, you can always have a look at the Caramels board and opt for those deeply warm colors.
But, the important thing is, you’ll find other ponchos, like the colorblock from Forever 21 or the sophisticated one by Missoni. And if you have a thing for bows and pajamas, just checkmark this belted cardigan by 3.1 Philip Lim.
Still not satisfied?
In fact, oversized sweaters are never enough, uh?
So, I intentionally reserved the colored sweaters board to close the post, because it’s my favorite.
If you are like me, and you can’t stand the 2 shades of grey that the cold season usually brings in boutiques, then you need to have a look at the last board.
Whatever your disposition and your favorite board, here’s a bigger list of oversized sweaters, with the items listed above and many others. You can also access it with a click on any of the following boards.
